This is a **one-of-a-kind, handcrafted peeled paint and cut paper collage.** This is NOT a print, it was NOT created digitally, it is NOT AI-generated, it was 100% hand-crafted by me: In addition to having an Etsy shop I also paint public and private murals as well as large-scale backdrops, scenery, and faux-finishing for television, theatre, museums, cruise ships, schools, etc. I collect and save leftover scrap material to reuse or repurpose in my Fine Art/Studio practice. such as the dried paint from the inside of my five-gallon mixing buckets. These "paint skins" as I think of them are truly beautiful as objects in and of themselves.

Give yourself or your loved one the gift of something truly original, unique, special and handmade. Created and signed by Philadelphia artist Erica Harney (me!), this is an original, handmade collage that measures about 8x8" before framing and matting, (Measures approximately 12x12" if purchased with a frame/mat. In order to keep shipping and insurance costs low, the frames I use are plexiglass, not actual glass).

*I am a full-time, working artist* in Philadelphia, PA, where I have been based since 2011. A NY native, I have a Bachelors of Fine Art in Drawing & Painting from Alfred University (2006) and a Masters of Fine Art in Drawing & Painting from the Pennsylvania State University (2010). I began using watercolor in 2005 while studying abroad at the Santa Reparata International School of Art in Florence, Italy. I am also proficient in oil and acrylic/latex, am an avid sketchbook user, and sometimes create collages from found objects. In addition to my Studio practice, I also gig as a scenic artist (painting scenery and backdrops for opera, theatre, tv, museums etc) and muralist in and around Philadelphia. Until the Pandemic I also taught as an adjunct instructor at several colleges and universities in the Mid-Atlantic region. I really wanted to buy a special gift for a young lady who is like a second daughter. She is getting married in St.Louis Cathedral in New Orleans. I did my homework in choosing a special painting of the church. Most were prints but this one was an actual custom watercolor painting. I absolutely love the outcome. She was so helpful and patient with a ton of questions I had and updated me on everything.,I highly recommend this artist.
